Polsinelli Shughart attorney Greg Kratofil lamented the possibility of Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback’s proposed cut to Kansas’s successful angel tax credit program.
Any cuts to the angel tax credit program could thwart much anticipated entrepreneurial growth and the growth of start up activity around the development of the Google Fiber project, warned Kratofil.
According to the Kansas City Business Journal: “It seems very counter to having a billion-dollar investment in your area — and you take away something that helps fund those innovations and those ideas,” Kratofil said.
