Husch welcomes former Kauffman Scholars’ general counsel

Husch Blackwell announced today the new addition of Donna Wilson Peters as of counsel to its Real Estate & Development team.

Wilson Peters served as general counsel to Kauffman Scholars, Inc. and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Charter School.

Wilson Peters earned her J.D. from Howard University School of Law.

According to Husch Blackwell’s Press Release: Invested in the Kansas City community, Wilson Peters serves on the Kansas City, Missouri Citizens’ Commission on Municipal Revenue, the Kansas City Downtown Minority Development Corporation, and previously served as Board Secretary and Attorney for the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners, and on the Kansas City Landmarks Commission. Ingram’s Magazine named Wilson Peters to its prestigious “40 Under Forty” list in 2000, and she received the National Bar Association’s Presidential Award in 2008.
